Inside Waterloo
Waterloo House has 17 bedrooms. All are ensuite, that is, they have private bathrooms. Many rooms have views over the garden. All rooms are quiet and you're more likely to wake to birdsong than to city noises.

Rooms are provided with T.V., direct dial telephones, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities. An iron and ironing board are available on request.

Waterloo House can accommodate disabled guests and there is a lift to all floors and to the parking lot.

  • - Off-street parking is free to guests.
  • - Wireless internet access available.
  • - Cribs/cots and high chairs are available.

Breakfast is downstairs in our comfortable dining room. There are tables in the attached conservatory to enjoy the sun and garden. We keep the garden's bird feeders well stocked so you'll probably enjoy a "flying visit". Our breakfast menu includes a full Irish breakfast - eggs, sausages, white and black pudding, rashers, fresh baked bread and Irish butter - the world's finest. The Catch of the Day, usually salmon, is available. So are fresh croissants, baked daily. French toast, waffles, porridge, cereals, fresh fruit and dried fruits are all available for your delectation. Here's what the travel press has to say about a stay at Waterloo House:

Karen Brown - "a peaceful night’s sleep is guaranteed"

"A reader wrote “You should have this in your book—it’s just the kind of place you are looking for.” And that is how we discovered Waterloo House, two tall Georgian townhouses cleverly combined to become a delightful guesthouse. Just a 15-minute walk to St. Stephen’s Green and Trinity College, it looks out over a quiet street (a peaceful night’s sleep is guaranteed) and has parking in front. Evelyn Corcoran and her friendly staff really look after guests well. Soft strains of classical music play in the lobby sitting room and there’s an elevator for luggage and for those who do not want to climb up to four flights of stairs. Whether your bedroom is on the garden level or at the top of the house, you’ll be pleased with its smart decor. Breakfast is taken downstairs in a spacious, perky, raspberry-painted room with French windows leading to a sunny conservatory and gardens. Keycards give you access to the front door as well as your room so that you can come and go on your own timetable. There are lots of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance."
